Sullivan Cup Gaelic Football Festival 2023

10th February 2023 Al Badiah Farm, Al Kharj Farm Riyadh.

The fifth edition of the Sullivan Cup was once again hosted by Tony and Margaret Gavin at the Celtic Park venue in Al Badiah, now home to the Al Kharj Celts. This year a resurgent Jeddah Gaels took to the field for their inaugural competition against Naomh Alee Riyadh. The GAA festival of sport is three legs, with games in Riyadh and Jeddah. We are proud of our lads and lasses who take to the field to play garlic football, hurling, and camogie.

Of course our usual appreciation is extended to Ambassador Cunningham and Alan Ralph at the Irish Embassy in Riyadh for their ongoing support of the GAA in Saudi Arabia and beyond,
